Diálogo 2

Ikxni kitaspit xkgoló, María waní pi kichilh xpuxnamat, xputsúma. Cuando regresó su señor, María le dijo que su sobrino había venido y que lo estaba buscando.

-xankgalh chan xliakgnajats, chu kit chan xliakgkukitsis, max na kilimakguaniy. ¿wix na na pina? /siempre siembra el 9 de enero y yo siembro el 15, creo que si voy a tener tiempo. ¿y tú vas a ir?
-na nakán, ¿tukú nakimakgtayay pi ni nakán? Na lhwa min tasakwa nak mawiy / tamién voy a ir, ¿quién me va a ayudar si no voy? Son muchos tus mozos a los que tengo que dar de comer.

Había mujeres que hacían la comida; siempre se hacía mole. Como a las mujeres les gustaba criar animales, totolas, guajolotes, gallinas pues no le costaba trabajo matarlos.
